To be able to search for a coach for a placement by who is available from a short-list. System to read calendar/schedules and report back who has availability for example in after school slot?

MAke the calendar searchable / filter by event type / courses title. Coaches can then go find the dates of courses they are looking for rather than having to hunt down the list

We need to add details about where a coach is coaching, (the clubs or organisations they coach for)

This would need to be sport related ie Football --Club A, hockey = Club B
Capture the Club name, address and Head coach name & email address (it would be ideal if as they start to type a list of clubs matching is displayed (like the tags/search boxes) and if the club exists then the detail or they can add a new club/organisation

Where would we put this - I am thinking the experience section or alongside the qualifications.

Any other ideas?

On journal history, it would help to list sessions in order of delivery date, or better still allow the coach to set filters to collate sessions in ways they see fit.

currently if i search for a level 2 football coach it lists all coaches meeting this description. If i then look at one of these coaches when i come out i return to the home page. I then have to start the search again inorder to view another coach. This is time consuming and quite frustrating and doesn't enable me to easily view a number of coaches details following a search. Recommendation is to return to the sort list created from the search

When a placement is made i would like a booking form created with fields auto populated which can then be emailed/sent to employers or coaches

Is there any functionality for registered coaches to be able to have the use of a forum. So that ideas could be bounced around or coaching questions submitted etc
Would be a useful tool to get coaches to come back regularly to the site as this content will change constantly when used well.

The coach is changed, at present I have to delete the placement and create a whole new placement to change the coach

So that schools can check minimum operating standards of school based coaches, it would be good to have a lower level of access. This level of access should also allow the Head Teacher to make requests for coaches to cover placements to the managers of a Coach Web system area, matched against sports, times etc. The access level would not allow Heads to contact coaches directly

We have a number of coaches who are on work visa's as they are not from the UK. along with employment MOS i think this should be added, similar to CRB expiry date of work visa - this woudl also need a NA button as it wouldn't apply to all coaches

It would be an excellent selling for providers to buy into teh system if they could run their own reports on activities they have organised

If a venue has been entered in error it would be useful to have a delete venue button just under the add venue button

i am updating records on my coaches, we did inductions 2 weeks ago but i'm just updating the system now. The system shows the date the record is updated. i think it would be better if we could manually add the date when the actual induction took place. It isn't always posible to update the system the actual day the induction takes place

When you go to tag a coach, you get every other organisation's tag appearing i.e. csc mersyside, csc cw, etc. it makes searching for your own tag quite hectic

this will enable more direct and effective communication with providers
